Who sees what
Only membership in a family gives access: relatives, close ones and guests see different things, and living people are closed to outsiders.
Step by step
Choose who sees it
«All relatives» — keepers and relatives; «Relatives and close ones» — family friends too; «Selected» — those you picked; «Only me» — only you.
Relatives and close ones
Relatives are family members. Close ones are family friends, godparents, nannies: their stories appear after the keeper's check.
A guest link
«Share» → «Everyone with the link»: the page opens without signing in, if guests may see it. The link works for 90 days; whoever shared it or the keeper can revoke it.
Guests never see the living
Guests do not see the names, dates or photos of the living — nor photos where a living person is tagged. The same goes for those not known to be alive.
Children and teenagers
An own account — from 13; until 16 — with a parent's consent: the parent presses «I allow» in the letter. Younger children have no account: adults record their story («Record her story»).
Frequent questions
Does the keeper see everything?
No. The keeper does not see stories marked «Only me» or «Selected» if they were not picked. Nor letters to the future before their opening day.
Will a relative from another family see our stories?
No, not until they are a member of your family. Access is not passed on through kinship or through a tag on a photo.
Can I hide a photo from guests?
Yes. Every open photo has «Hide from guests» — any member can press it, and the photo hides at once. And only you show your own story to guests: the «Show to guests» switch is off by default.
